These bullets were designed specifically for MDWS and the 277 Wolverine. They are for use in 1:7 twist or faster 277/6.8 barrels, and as you can see in the photos have devastating expansion at subsonic speeds. These fired bullet photos were shot into clear ballistic gelatin at 10 feet, at the velocities shown in the photos. Failure to use a 1:7 or faster twist barrel can result in key-holing and potential baffle strike with a suppressor. This is a premium subsonic hunting bullet.
